Wavelength was founded by Jason Carter, 15 years ago and have earned its reputation for consistent high quality work. Jason started cutting his teeth in the studio by cutting analog tape during his teen years working in various recording studios throughout the Pacific Northwest. In the early 90s, Jason worked at Musicraft, a world-class studio on the west coast that hosted regular clients like Gus Van Sant and the NBA. Digital recording technology was in its infant stage and Jason was on the ground level learning and using technology like Protools before it was called Protools. He soon realized that his true passion was mastering, and started honing his skills as a mastering engineer. When he founded Wavelength he was able to focus all his attention where he wanted and has since built a world class mastering studio. Even though some of Jason's time goes to mentoring other mastering engineers, you can rest assured that Jason will put the finishing touches on every project that comes through Wavelength.
