Once again, Martyrs of Sound featuring Steve Koc and renowned author Sara Wiseman are in the studio recording their 4th album here at Wavelength.
Tentatively titled Mantra Chill II, Steve and Sara are delivering a whole new approach and sound from their previous releases. All we can say is....."Epic". Last summer, Kink FM 101.9 in Portland, OR chose New Soul from their album, Songs for Loving and Dying to be featured on the popular Locals Only Vol.3 Compilation CD. In the fall of 2009, the Independent Music Awards honored Martyrs with the best new age song award for their song Ananda from their 2nd release Uncoiled. You're probably asking yourself by now, who are these two people anyway, and why haven't I heard of them before? Steve Koc Steve Koc is a multi - instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, chiropractor and healer, who worked for decades with entertainers such as Michael Jackson and The Grateful Dead. At 16, his spiritual path lead him to the Sikhs, where he was captivated by the power of mantra.
